Lifting operations in a historical context
At ‘de Abdij van Park’ in Leuven, we faced a challenging task: safely lifting trees and materials into the courtyard, while respecting the historic environment and working within limited space.
For this job, we deployed our newest crane, the Grove GMK5250L-1. Thanks to its strong reach and precision, our operators, Wesley and Bram, were able to carry out the lifting work to perfection.
The result?
A large, mature tree was placed perfectly in the ‘van de abdij’ courtyard — exactly in the intended position, with full respect for the site’s heritage. A technically challenging lift, executed as planned: precise, controlled, and safe.
